Band Guns 'n' Roses

Members Original line up was W Axl Rose (Vocals,keyboards/piano), Slash (Lead guitars/guitars/backing vocals), Izzy Stradlin' (Guitars/lead guitars/backing vocals), Duff McKagan(Bass/backing vocals), Steven Adler(Drums). Now consists of Axl Rose plus a bunch of random geezers no one has heard of.

Comments Ah the good old days of the eighties when metal was really metal, that is all metal bands sported poodle perms and every song had a guitar solo that lasted for at least three minutes whether it fitted in with the song or not. Guns 'n' Roses sported this image to a degree but actually managed to write decent music. Singer axl Rose rants on about all the women he has shagged in nearly every song whilst the guitar tag team of Slash and Izzy give us some good hard riffing and some gratuitous guitar solos. Basically they sound like Aerosmith with a bit of punk chucked in with lots of swearing (sample lyric: I'm fucking innocent, so you can suck me). Air guitar mandatory whenever listening to this band.

Band Foo Fighters

Members Original lineup was Dave Grohl (Vocals/Guitar), Pat Smear (Guitar), Nate Mendel (Bass), William Goldsmith (Drums), currently the Foos guitarist is Chris Shiflett whilst current drummer is Taylor Hawkins.

Comments After mad old Kurt decided to redecorate his house with his head utilising a shot gun, everyone thought that the other two members of Nirvana would simply fade away. Not so for drummer Dave Grohl who decided to play guitar and sing some slightly more happy tunes than his previous band, all whilst sporting a permanent cheesy grin. Foo fighters have since become one of the best pop/rock bands around giving us good tunes whilst still maintaining "artistic integrity" Everyone is guaranteed to like at least on Foo Fighters tune.

Band Beastie Boys

Comments The Beastie boys have been around since the dawn of time, well since the early eighties anyway. One of the first bands along with Run DMC, to give us a Rap/Rock crossover, Beastie Boys continue to give us Fun tunes that you can dance to in that half arsed white boy kind of way. If you haven't heard one of their tunes you have either been in a coma for the past twenty years, or are a complete sugar coated pop lover (Britney Spears for example).

Band All Saints

Comments All Saints are a very rare breed indeed, that is they are a girly pop band that are good, they spare us from repetitive teeny bopping shit(Stand up Spice Girls, Eternal et al, your crap!!). Only bad song is that piss awful cover of Under the Bridge, lets leave the rock to the lads, girls.
